Space 299 has been created to ensure art is promoted and projected into the future. We've seen it too many times. Artists struggling to show their art or discouraged due to high gallery prices and exclusivity. We want this to stop and for the art to live on.
But why the name Space 299? Well, we wanted to honour one of the most important things in art, Light. 299 is a shortening of the speed of light (299,792,458 m / s) and as well as being full of energy, we aim to travel forward indefinitely, promoting your art in all its glory.

Our mission is to help the masses exhibit, not the few, so we always will do our best to keep our fees low.
And remember, we don't charge commission fees, if someone wants to buy your work, they can contact you directly or we'll pass on your details to them.

*Exhibitors must be above 18 years of age. We hold the right to not accept submissions which do not meet our exhibition terms and conditions.
Space 299 contains 3 galleries.
Our Red and Blue Spaces are for our special
2-month-long exhibitions and other one-off events.
Our Green Space Is our version of a permanent collection. It will display artists that we want to exhibit outside our special exhibitions. This space will be free to exhibit in for one year and rewarded to one artist after each short exhibition in our red and blue spaces.
All are available to visit online, via computer, tablet and mobile.
But just like light, we’re always looking forward to new possibilities and ways to exhibit your work.
Be it Augmented Reality, the Metaverse or digitally in the real world, we will be investigating it, but, whatever we do, it has to benefit all and be sustainable.
